Protection of Nature is the Preservation of its own Existence:
Earth’s natural resources include air, water, soil, minerals, fuels, plants and animals. Caring for these resources and using them limited is the nature’s protection so that all living things can be benefited by them in the future. Nature, resource and environment are the basis of our life and existence.
Although the advancement of modern civilization has had a great impact on the natural resources of our planet, therefore conservation of natural resources is very important today. Conservation of nature or environment reflects only sustainable resources as well as management of natural resources, including wildlife, water, air and earth. There are renewable and non-renewable natural resources.
Conservation of natural resources :
Conservation of natural resources is usually focused on human needs and interests – for example biological, economic, cultural and recreational value.
Conservationists believe that development is essential for a better future. But when changes are made in such a way that they damage the nature, they do not grow, but for the next generations, destruction is exacerbated. All things like food, water, air and shelter are essential for us to survive.
They all come under natural resources. Some of these resources are like small plants. These can be quickly changed after use. Second, are like big trees. It takes a lot of time to change them.
These are renewable resources. Other resources such as fossil fuels can not be changed at all. Once used, they can not be retrieved. These come under non-renewal resources. If resources are managed negligently, then resources are misused and there are renewable resources which also come under threat, and these renewable resources can not be saved for much longer use. But if we love our generations, then these natural resources have to be managed wisely.
In the last two centuries, the population of humans has become very big. Billions of people use resources because they build food and houses, produce goods and fuel fuel for transportation and electricity. We know that continuity of life depends on the careful use of natural resources.
The need to preserve resources often struggles with other needs. For some people a wild area can be a good place to plant a farm. A wood company uses the business to cut down the trees in the field for building materials.
A businessman would like to build a factory or shopping mall on land. There are many ways that can conserve any natural resources. Today, most people are searching for many ways to conserve natural resources. Hydropower and solar energy are an option.
These sources can generate electricity and these are the best ways to conserve natural resources. One way of preserving natural resources is to recycling process. Through this, nature and resources can be preserved. Many products such as paper, cups, cardboard and envelopes are made from trees. By recycling these products, you can save millions of trees in 1 year. This is a great way to preserve natural resources.
Sustainable forestry practices :
Sustainable forestry practices are important for establishing these resources well in the future. Forests can be planted only by natural methods. These are not human capabilities. For this, naturally to prepare trees for erosion in order to create new trees with their seeds, leaves and stems. This ‘deadwood’ prepares the soil and in other ways natural helps in regeneration.
We need the protection of fossil fuels, however, we also have to find other reasons for limiting the use of our fossil fuels because these fuel pollutes the air. By burning fossil fuels, carbon dioxide expands in the atmosphere, which contributes to global warming.
Global warming is changing our ecosystem. The oceans are becoming hot and more acidic, which is a threat to marine life. Sea levels are rising and there is a threat to coastal communities.
Many areas are facing more drought, while others suffer from floods. People in many parts of the world are suffering due to water scarcity. There is continuous decrease in water due to deficiency of underground water bodies, which are called aquifers. Due to drought, rain deficiency or water supply is also a major cause of nature’s pollution.
The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that there is no clean water for 2.6 billion people to drink in adequate quantities. Due to the use of polluted water for drinking, cooking or washing, more than 5 lakh people die every year. One-third of the Earth’s population lives in areas which are experiencing water stress. Most of these areas suffer from developing countries.
The security of biodiversity is now very important, because biodiversity is important to reduce climate change as well as to adapt to the effects of climate change. If we do not protect biodiversity, its effects can be more harmful as the effects of global warming. Especially the biodiversity of tropical forests is very important to us.
These jungle are important for fighting more climate change and more species than any other ecosystem type. In other words, the security of biodiversity is essential for our health. Along with this, biodiversity helps in balancing the nature.
High economic development is essential for reducing the level of poverty and improving the quality of life of the population. In the higher economic development, the use of natural resources and the environment is required to be maximized, which in turn causes them to decline and eventually decay.
The pressure of the increased population on natural resources also contributes to their decline, therefore, high growth can not be called sustainable development unless it has environmental protection.
Emphasizing the use of conservation and understanding of the environment, an efficient demand management policy can also increase the supply of these resources.
An attempt to find alternatives to preserving resources through community management of such resources is essential. Community management can not be successful in the absence of proper property rights for different communities and suitable institutions.
Today, the need for community and ecological policies that engage in environmental protection and management involvement system.
Do you know
2 million years for a glass bottle to be destroyed.
8 million tons of waste is added every year in the oceans.
Every minute, one million water bottles are purchased all over the world.
1000 years for a plastic bag to be destroyed.
A plastic bottle takes 400 years to destroy.
Only 9% of the world’s garbage can be recycled.
12% waste of the world’s waste is burnt And the one who escapes remains scattered over the whole earth.
